Description
SOLAR ERUPTIVE ACTIVITY IS A PRIMARY DRIVER OF SPACE WEATHER AFFECTING THE EARTH S SPACE ENVIRONMENT SATELLITES VARIOUS ENGINEERING SYSTEMS NAVIGATION PUBLIC HEALTH ETC. SOLAR ACTIVITY ORIGINATES FROM MAGNETIC ACTIVE REGIONS THAT EMERGE FROM THE SOLAR INTERIOR AND FORM SUNSPOT GROUPS ON THE SURFACE. THEREFORE IT IS CRITICAL FOR FORECASTING OF MAJOR ERUPTIVE EVENTS TO MAKE EARLY PREDICTIONS OF EMERGING MAGNETIC FLUX THAT FORMS THE ACTIVE REGIONS WHICH ACCUMULATE LARGE AMOUNTS OF MAGNETIC ENERGY TO BE RELEASED DURING THE SOLAR ERUPTIONS.
