title = "A decentralized sliding control approach for distributed simulation of differential-algebraic equation systems",
abstract = "In this paper, a new method for distributed simulation of Differential Algebraic Equation systems is developed based on purely decentralized sliding mode control. Due to the large amount of computation and communication associated with large scale matrix inversion problems in the existing centralized approaches, this new distributed method is much more efficient. The necessary conditions for stability of the distributed approach are developed. The new method is applied for simulation of a triple pendulum system to demonstrate the validity of the approach.",
