Abstract
The flow image is direction oriented. In this paper, we present a technique to compute the pixel-wise direction of a flow oriented image. A fuzzy balanced direction number algorithm is applied by a circular model. In addition, we use a ridge width dependent technique to control the window size under different resolution. Several experiments are shown in the paper to display the merit of our technique.
