Abstract

A novel, web-enabled multimedia approach, with 3D virtual reality internal and external human body tours, to support low back pain diagnosis is presented. The objective of this collaborative research and educational program development is to adopt advanced engineering problem solving methods to biomedical engineering. The 3D multimedia medical engineering learning material have been validated and tested by over 25 medical professionals, by several students and by several professionals in industry.
