Abstract
The Aeolus Project comprises a large-scale effort to elucidate the dynamics of coastal sand dune systems. The project involves detailed, comprehensive field experiments, longer term monitoring of coastal dune development, and the design of simulation models for predicting future dune morphologies. Field experiments have been completed in Canada, Ireland, and the USA. Analysis of data is in progress.
