Abstract
The optimum replenishment sizes for a two stocking points in series inventory system are determined. The system carries a perishable commodity from the age dependent class. The demand is assumed to be constant, the holding costs may be different in the echelons, and it allows no shortages. Results for systems where perishability starts at the primary echelon and systems where perishability starts at the final echelon are presented.
