Abstract
The use of the magnetorheological effect allows one to control hydrodynamic and heat-exchange characteristics of liquid media. Use of this effect when the magnetorheological suspension is placed in the magnetic gap of a loudspeaker substantially improves its electroacoustic and power characteristics. The thermal and mechanical characteristics of a loudspeaker with a magnetic gap filled with a magnetorheologic suspension were numerically investigated.
