Abstract
An assessment of teaming, writing and speaking (TWS) instruction modules in chemical engineering course was analyzed. The module to be implemented within a junior-level chemical engineering laboratory course and a senior level capstone design course, required collaborative writing and oral presentations. The senior capstone design provides students with a realistic experience of industrial practice in process design. The results show that TWS does contribute to enhanced performance of students in chemical engineering laboratory class.
