Abstract

Collaboration between industry and academe offer a rich source of learning experiences for students, teachers, and industry partners. These collaborations provide ample opportunities to integrate communication and team skills in engineering courses. This paper discusses in details the things that need to be done in order to implement a strong partnership between industry and academe, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of such a union.
