Abstract
The various options for removing carbon dioxide (CO2) from power plant exhaust gases are reviewed. An absorption-stripping system using amine solutions and dissolution of gaseous CO2 into deep ocean waters is a feasible choice with a marginal cost of electricity below 15%.
