Abstract

Ozonation of adamantane adsorbed on silica gel produces visible chemilummescence in the wavelength range of 400-650 nm. When the supply of O3 stops, chemiluminescence decays in a first order reaction with the effective rate constant k. Its dependence on the initial amount of adamantane and temperature has been studied.
