Abstract

Fast magnetic field jump time-resolved LMR has been used to study relaxation of the upper Cl(2P 1 2) fine structure state induced by CCl4, CF4 and H2O. The rate constants measured are (1.8±0.6) × 10-10, (2.7±0.8) × 10-11 and (7.8±2.3) × 10-11 cm3/s, respectively, at T= 320 K.
