Abstract

Most of the results of a recent paper by Shi and Seinfeld [J. Mater. Res. 6, 2091 (1991)] are documented in literature in a very similar form. Asymptotic formulas of transient nucleation are briefly reviewed and smooth matching of the nucleation and growth regions is discussed.
