Abstract

Experimental data show that the isothermal crystallization behaviour of CR-PP depends on its molecular weight and molecular weight distribution, and crystallization temperature. One reacted sample (sample C) shows the presence of β form crystals only at Tc= 120°C. No indication of the presence of β form crystal was observed for the other reacted samples regardless of crystallization temperature used in this study. Under nonisothermal crystallization conditions peak crystallization temperature decreases with increasing cooling rate. The effect of MW on the peak crystallization temperature is more district at fast cooling rate. However, no differences between the different CR-PP's are observed in our experimental heating rates.
