Abstract
The structural, rheological and dynamic properties of high-concentration electro-rheological suspensions are described and, on the basis of the dependence of their parameters (viscosity, elasticity) on the electric field intensity and mechanical load-dependent parameters, a theoretical analysis is given of a vibratory single-mass system with electro-rheological dampers. The results of the analytical solution of the equation of motion are compared with the experimental data on the mechanisms responsible for the variation of the damping characteristics (damping decrement, transfer coefficient) of the precision equipment vibroprotection system. The possibility of designing an active high-speed electric-control vibroprotection system is considered.
