Abstract
A procedure for density evolution for low-density parity-check (LPDC) codes under Max-Log-MAP decoding was presented. The optimal Log-MAP algorithm was approximated by Max-Log-MAP by substituting each log-exponential operation with max-operation. The precise convergence threshold for LDPC code could be easily derived using this techniques.
