Abstract
This paper presents a set of computer solution curves for use in designing the four-revolute spherical function generators. The link dimensions of the spherical four-revolute linkage are obtained by matching a plot of the desired function with curves derived from computer solutions of the displacement equation relating input and output angles of the linkage. The curve matching method is illustrated with the help of an example problem. An accuracy check is made on the linkage designed by the above method.
