Abstract
The compaction density and dispersity of the easy-melting component in the mixture Zn-S, for which the conditions of self-propagating high-temperature synthesis are realized, were determined experimentally. It was established that the size of the anisotropic structure of the zone of columnar crystals can be controlled by varying the dispersity of sulfur.
