Abstract

A study was performed on the elasticity-driven nanoscale electronic structure in superconductors. The effects of long-range anisotropic deformations were analyzed within the framework of Bogoliubov-de Gennes equations. It was found that the superconducting order parameter was depressed in the regions where pronounced lattice-deformation occurred.
