Abstract

A technique for obtaining reliable estimates of flow parameters has been demonstrated for pure polypropylene as well as blends. Furthermore, a method for predicting blend elongational rheology that takes into account the blend morphology has been presented. It has been shown that a series-type model behaves in the same fashion as a discontinuous blend while a parallel-element model is analogous to a co-continuous blend.
