title = "Imaging Technique for in Situ Cloud Characterization",
abstract = "An imaging technique for in situ characterization of droplets in atmospheric clouds based on analysis of scattered light from droplets illuminated by a pulsed spectrally broadband light source is presented.",

note = "Funding Information: Measurement of water droplets 10–2000 µm in diameter is experimentally demonstrated. The measured side-scatter integral intensity as a function of the droplet diameter closely follows the Mie theoretical calculation. Sizing of monodisperse droplets typically show statistical scatter of 5–15%, the measured values being within ∼10% of the set droplet diameter. Acknowledgment.
