Abstract

The New Jersey Institute of Technology's Fundamentals of Engineering Design Program is aimed at providing freshmen engineering students with senior level experience. The program's curriculum alternately exposes students to chemical concepts and experiments and allows the use of the Chemical Engineering Unit Operations Laboratory. Among the topics covered by the program are rotometer calibration and pressure drop measurement.
