Abstract

Along with the development of logistics information technology, especially the application of Internet of Things (IoT), logistics networks have recorded footprints of our daily events and industrial operations. People, cargos, organizations, facilities and information are closely involved in logistics procedures and form an up-to-date social network, which has physical, open, diverse and dynamic features. To describe and analyze the new characteristics of this new network, we propose a new term called Logistics Social Networks and discuss their concept, construction and analysis methodologies.
