Abstract

High-resolution Hα filtergrams and deep magnetograms were obtained from the Big Bear Solar Observatory “BBSO” and Huairou Solar Observation Station “HSOS” during 17-24 October 1997. The three days “17, 18, and 19” with the best image quality were selected for this initial research. We have found that macrospicules are triggered by interaction either between intranetwork and network elements or among several network magnetic elements. We present a model to explain the spatial relationship between macrospicules and magnetic fields.
