Abstract
A simple technique is presented which eases the requirements for maximum power consideration in solar cells with resistive losses. This technique is based on the well known general condition for maximum power dP=(δP/ δI)dI + (δP/ δV) dV= 0. The present analysis is made for a real solar cell, one with both series and shunt resistances present simultaneously.
