Abstract

Diffusion mass transfer combined with phase transformations in a ternary alloy with dispersed particles is examined. The most significant features of numerous results of computer simulation of the carburization of chromium and nickel steels are presented. The model allows us to describe the variation of the structure of a multi-phase alloy during heat-treatment and surface hardening.
