Abstract
We have observed depression of the conductivity by large electric fields at constant temperature in granular aluminum thin films just above the superconducting transition temperature. We have been able to avoid spurious effects due to heating by use of a vacuum-insulated thin film thermometer in intimate contact with the sample, and have observed the "E -2 3-effect" predicted by theory.
