Abstract

The behavior of magnetorheological suspensions is considered. For these an intense structure formation is inherent, which results in the particles of the dispersed phase combining in large clusters. In the first approximation the clusters may be modeled by axisymmetric ellipsoids. For such elements of the dispersed phase the effect of Brownian motion may be disregarded. The authors analyze the dynamics of the behavior of a rigid axisymmetric particle of a magnetically soft material in a magnetic field varying in time and space.
