Abstract
Several analytical and numerical approximations for the steady-state nucleation rate I in the metastable ising model driven by the Glauber or by the Metropolis dynamics were obtained. The treatment generalizes the given results which were obtained for a different dynamics, but the current approach also adds more flexibility in selecting cluster configurations, allowing one to consider smaller fields.
