Abstract

The rate constant of the Cl plus SiH//4 reaction has been measured by laser magnetic resonance under flow conditions. An anomalously high value left bracket (4. 5 plus or minus 1. 7) multiplied by (times) 10** minus **1**0 cm**3/sec right bracket has been obtained. It has been shown that the overestimation of the rate constant of this reaction is caused by heterogeneous processes.
