PAG-based photodyanmic therapy in cancer cells

Abstract

We report custom-made photoacid generators (PAGs) that produced a pH drop within HCT 116 cells via one- or two-photon absorption, an alternative PDT modality to selectively induce cell death in oxygen-deprived tissue such as tumors.
