Performance analysis of VPSK digital modulation

Abstract

A digital modulation recently proposed and referred to as variable phase-shift-keyeing is analyzed. The autocorrelation function, power spectral density, and probability of error are computed. Our results show that claims of very high spectral efficiency are unjustified.
