Abstract
With the use of the multifunctional variational method we have analyzed the shape and other parameters of a wide-peak autosoliton, which can be excited in electron-hole or slightly ionized gas plasmas heated by constant electric current or electromagnetic radiation. We have shown that this autosoliton exists even in very weakly nonequilibrated plasmas. In a number of cases the minimal pumping power needed to maintain this autosoliton is proportional to 2, whereas the maximum temperature of hot carriers in its center, Tmax-4, where =l/L1, L is the ambipolar diffusion length, and l is the length of the hot electron energy relaxation.
