Abstract

The authors retract this article on the basis that certain force-field parameters had not been included in the original simulations. Repetition of the work was done to correct this oversight, and while the broader conclusions originally reached by the authors remained similar, the resulting changes in specific details are sufficiently extensive to warrant a retraction of the present article and republishing the work as a new article. The corrected version is being concurrently published with this retraction notice in an article entitled “Water Induced Structural Transformations in Flexible Two-Dimensional Layered Conductive Metal-Organic Frameworks”, DOI: 10.1021/acs.chemmater.2c00989. On April 15, 2021, an Expression of Concern was posted on this article with concerns surrounding the accurate reporting of methods and the validation of computational methods. The Expression of Concern is considered resolved upon publication of this Retraction. The original Expression of Concern has been appended as Supporting Information. The original article was published on October 28, 2020, and retracted on August 16, 2022.
