Abstract
A numerical investigation of the rheodynamics and heat transfer in the flow of liquids with memory in a thermally stabilized region of a circular pipe is described. Curves of flow behavior vs the Weissenberg parameter are obtained for aqueous solutions of polyacrylamide of different concentrations. Asymptotic formulas for the shear viscosity at high and low shear rates are derived.
