Abstract

A colloquium is organized in honor of Dr. Harlan D. Mills, which is intended to celebrate his legacy in the theory and practice of software engineering. His contributions are presented, their impact on today's state of the art and state of the practice is assessed, and ponder how his ideas can be exploited to deal with the challenges in the future.
