Abstract

In this paper we propose a multi-antenna cyclic cumulant (CC)-based classifier for digital linear modulations in flat fading channels, which employs selection combining to mitigate the impact of fading. The proposed classifier benefits from the robustness of the CC-based features to phase offset and timing error. Furthermore, due to spatial diversity, it provides significant performance improvement, when compared with a single-antenna classifier. Simulation results are provided to show the performance of the multi-antenna classifier under a variety of channel conditions.
