Abstract
Mathematical evaluation of the mold filling cavity process was developed with the use of equations combined transport of momentum and energy. The '%'transport phenomena'%' approach has been applied to this transient and non- isothermal problem and a number of physical assumptions have been made to simplify the mathematical problem and a numerical solution was made possible. Several unimportant variables were eliminated and the general relationships between the cavity filling performance and the resin physical properties are indicated.
