Abstract

A programming infrastructure as well as useful operators to support stream processing in different applications was developed. An overview of a data stream management system (DSMS) prototype called T2 was provided. T2 was applied to monitoring and analyzing electrocardiogram (ECG) data streams, arriving via wireless networks from mobile subjects wearing ECG sensors. the study focused on off-line analysis of disk-recorded ECG data, and its integration with other medical information stored on relational databases.
