Abstract

Construction Project Planning requires the selection of an operating strategy and the commitment of resources necessary to its implementation. The strategy selection and its associated preferred schedule and resource commitments, lead to the work plan with minimum total operating and financing costs. The integration of a time and resource management system and a spreadsheet system can help meet this objective, by allowing interactively the computation of different costs related to any given schedule.
