Abstract

The spectrum of low-frequency Galactic radio emission is calculated with allowance for the feature (cloud) in the distribution of absorbing gas that is closest to the Sun. Parameters for this local interstellar cloud are estimated through comparison with radio observations at frequencies below 1 MHz; the inferred parameters are in agreement with independent observational data.
