Abstract

The optical design and test for the high order solar AO system were demonstrated. The high order AO system was currently under construction and will deliver fist light at the end of 2003. It was said that to provide diffraction-limited image in the visible and near infrared simultaneously, and it will also serve as a demonstration prototype for the 4-meter Advanced Technology Solar Telescope (ATST), which was under design and will be constructed much further.
