TIME SERIES ANALYSIS OF AMMONIA IN THE PASSAIC RIVER.

Research output: Contribution to conferencePaperpeer-review

Abstract

Recent years have witnessed the growing concern over nitrogen in receiving waters because of the eutrophic and second state BOD (Biochemical Oxygen Demand) effects. Unfortunately, there is a distinct lack of direct nitrogen data in the nation's receiving waters. Furthermore, the lack of data has forced the use of special mathematical techniques such as time series analysis to analyze the existing data. The paper describes a study that applies one such technique to the problem.
