Abstract

A simplified model is presented that simulates the magnetic field distribution in applications to the magnetic field assisted assembly of semiconductor device structures. The simulation uses commercial software (Vizimag). Solenoids of different shapes serve as electromagnets that are responsible for the assembly process by directing devices to designated recesses within the substrate.
