Abstract
The paper presents a description and analysis of a passive solar residence with double, southeast and southwest, orientation. The design includes automated sun tracking insulation, supplementary phase change heat storage system, mass sod roof and interior ventilation systems. Testing and computer assisted thermal modeling indicate unique advantages for the dual orientation design. (Author abstract. )
