Vibrational spectrum of crystalline ammonium azide

The partial correlation field splitting of the symmetric stretching and bending N3 - internal modes and the low frequency lattice modes in crystalline ammonium azide have been observed using far infrared and laser Raman spectroscopy. The modes are assigned by factor group analysis and compared with the neutron inelastic scattering spectrum of the salt.
