Abstract
A workshop, held in conjunction with the Seventh International Conference on Software Engineering, reflects the growing interest in both practical and theoretical aspects of requirements specification. Its subject area was broadened to include software design techniques and it explored relationships between specification and design models, methods, and languages. Sessions included languages issues, methodology and practice, theory, and tools. This report presents the issues discussed in the workshops.
